MunmuBaram Signs Fishery Impact Survey Contract with MarineCom

(October 17th, 2024) The MunmuBaram project has officially signed a service contract for a fishery impact survey with the Korea Maritime and Ocean Research Institute (MarineCom).

This collaboration will facilitate a systematic and empirical investigation into the potential impacts of the project on local fisheries. MunmuBaram is actively seeking to develop legitimate and reasonable compensation measures based on assessment and analysis of the identified targets, extent, and scope of any expected damage.

This agreement marks a significant milestone in securing community acceptance of the project. In addition, MunmuBaram is committed to developing programs aimed at fostering a coexistence business model that benefits both the project and local residents.
